About
For the first time at Ball State, the Music Media Production and Theory/Composition departments are teaming up with the Brown Planetarium to put on a star-studded show for the public!
This is going to be the first computer music concert at the planetarium and will provide a new visual experience to accompany the experimental music. The concert will feature projects from students in the two classes of MUST 121 computer music, a performance by the BSU Electroacoustic Ensemble, and the debut of MMP senior Gabrielle Hogan’s original work "Codename: The Final Phase". Physics student Sarah Vise will be creating the astronomical projections on the planetarium dome while the music plays.
The concert took place on Saturday, April 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Brown Planetarium, located between the Cooper Science Building and the Christy Woods on Riverside Avenue. Admission is free and students can receive recital credit for attending.
